Foot Odor
• Obviously foot odor can be embarrassing! It’s caused by germs and bacteria that thrive in a dark, moist, warm environment produced by non-breathable socks and shoes.
• To try and curb the smell, there are a few tips to try. First, wash your feet daily with an antimicrobial soap.
• Wear natural fiber socks. They’ll help with moisture absorption and increase airflow. Look for socks where the percentage of natural fibers/material is over 80%.
• Leather shoes can help. Synthetic materials will restrict airflow an increase the opportunity for foot odor.
• Try antiperspirant sprays and powders.
